Dr. Sharon Chambers is a graduate of the University of the West Indies. She is a UK-trained rheumatologist who worked as a consultant at the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in England before moving to the Cayman Islands in 2015.

She has extensive experience in the management of rheumatological diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis.

Dr. Chambers has a keen interest in research and served as principal investigator and co-investigator for clinical trials involving biologic therapies in the UK. She earned a master’s degree from the University College London for original research into systemic lupus erythematosus.
